Pros:

Course was built using the lay of the land. No hay bales or man made obstacles except pond and fence lines. Its good to have another 18 hole disc golf course in the Brazos Valley area. The local PDGA tournament dirctor said that the layout has promise for a tournament in the near future.

Cons:

Needs to be played more and more input on the course in order to make appropriate modifications. The second dry was so postitive that the only con was that we did not finish two rounds of disc golf due to darkeness. Simply put, we need baskets out there at all times and tee markers and maps. These are works in progress.

Other Thoughts:

A few of the locals have played this course and from their reactions, I get the feeling they are very optimistic. This course, as it is, has the potential to become a Tier C, if not XC, venue. With hotels and RV Parks within a 10 mile radius of the course, and a possible camp site on the course, this course has the potential to host a multiple day tournament. In conjunction with Tom Yocky's Stop Crying Disc Golf Series and the Aggieland Disc Golf Club, a two day tournament is slowly in the works for the distant future.
