Pros:

Nice concrete tees.
Each hole is easy to find.
Well maintained, i see them mowing every 7-14days. abundant garbage cans.
Losing a disc isn't much of a problem

Cons:

Not many technical shots required.
Baskets are noticeably wider in diameter.
Some trees are being removed because of disease.
The bugs don't hold back. Bring some heavy duty skeeter spray.

Other Thoughts:

Frequent flooding leads to a lot of bugs in July and August but its still a nice course in the SE region. Hole 7 is awesome in July when the willows are blooming. The private gardens can come into play on hole 6 and searching through a patch of corn is no fun.
Though the holes are short, it's still fun for beginners and experienced players as well.

Nice 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 14, 2012 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

-Good tees
-Good signs at each tees
-nice scenery
-hard to lose a disc
-easy to find the next hole
-very low traffic course

Cons:

For me the biggest thing here are the baskets. The baskets seem to be twice the size of regulation.
Also the course is a little bit hidden and you have to go through a trailer park to get there.

Other Thoughts:

I like this course because it's an easy 9 holes that are short and fun. I rate it 3 though because im not even sure the baskets are legit size, also i have to go through trailer trash to get there

Wahpeton Disc Golf Course Review 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 6, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

Close to nature. Good tee pads and good baskets. Well groomed grass. Open spots to let the disk fly.

Cons:

Your on the river side of the levee so any moisture creates half the course a swamp. Very buggy.

Other Thoughts:

I would play this couse again if I knew it would be dry. Looked to me like a winter course.

A nice little 9 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 18, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

The layout takes advantage of the space available. Signs, tees and baskets were all in good shape. Seems like it does not get much play, so crowds aren't going to be a problem. A fair amount of variability.

Cons:

The course is in the floodplain of the Red River, and bugs and (very) soft ground are always going to be a problem. The bugs were pretty bad. The longest hole is only around 350", so big arms will not be challenged.

Other Thoughts:

If you are in the area, it is worth the trip, if only to fill out your list of courses played. The directions to the course were spot on. As the vegetation matures, the challenge level will increase. In the meantime, it is a decent course, without major flaws or strong points.

Nothing spectacular, but worth visiting 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:May 16, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Concrete tees with markers on every hole. A variety of shots needed on some holes, but nothing too extreme. Two par 4s and one par 5 add some variety to course. Mixture of mature and young trees help add some difficulty to course.

Cons:

Flat, windy at times, hot/muggy during the summer, no amenties, not very difficult for above average players

Course is located on a flood plain.

Other Thoughts:

Gas station nearby if you need to get drinks/use the bathroom.
