Pros:

Nice selection of discs in the "proshop"
Its nice to see a DGC in the area

Cons:

Way out of the way
Course layout is almost impossible to figure out
only one tee sign
Open holes are a marsh right now(early spring)
Shots are simplistic

Other Thoughts:

I went there to play both disc and ball golf with someone who knows the place very well. It had rained a lot the day beofore so i knew that the place would be a little mucky and looking at the course from the road had seen it was very short. But i still wanted to play because i hadnt been out in a while. I played the first hole and was already in a bad mood. An easy birdie hole but the ground was unbearable, every step had me sinking 3 inches into muddy crap. If the course had made me throw a spike hyser i'm pretty sure i'd still be excavating my disc. I gave up and went in to play on thier golf simulators. Maybe it was the time of year but there was still the confusing layout, the lack of tee signs, (save the first tee), and the fact that the tee boxes are not even marked. This course is definatley a pass for me.
Install some drainage system and some tee boxes and i might come back out.

Pros:

a perfect example of using land to it's fullest for ball/ DISC golf usage (to co exsist with a par 3 ball golf couse, even though the ball golf courses greens are artificial grass <of the cheap variety> is still very cool should be in corporated with other ball golf courses).

Good descriptive tee signs

decent steps leading up to hole # 4 and # 5, (even with a sign decribing the best way to climb the steep stairwell)

plenty of large bridges to cross 1 creek.

Rt. 22 is a beautiful highway to drive (great highway for motorcycles and there we're plenty riding past as I played) from S. Zanesville to Somerset (or visa versa)

GIGANTIC DEER FENCE to protect landowers on hole # 2 from errant shots, even with a row of pines. NICE touch Turkey Run!!

Some well placed baskets (# 3, # 5 and # 6)

honor system for payment of play

Well Manicured fairways (except for wooded hole, see coment below)

Holes # 3 and # 6 stand out as the "MOST BEST" holes, I can't imagine playing these holes if the creek was fuller, well I can but it would be scarier :^D

Cons:

only 9 holes

natural tees

no next tee tigns from the baskets (as I wish DGc's would utilize a colored basket well spoke or a colored piece of electrical tape pointing to the next tee), they did have next tee signs to the next BALL golf tee.

No teeing area to throw an extra shot near # 5's basket to # 6 basket (would be a great elevation throw over creek) but I guess since this is a pay to play course shots like that shouldn't be incorporated

No benches

grass is kinda over grown in the woods area.

presonally I would have # 8 's tee way up the hill and really have a 'true' bomber hole <even with the creek behind the basket>

from what I hear not enough people are playing this DGC <come on Zanesville people it's not that far away for you>

not well advertised <maybe a sign along RT. 22, pronoucing that a disc golf course is near, would be benificial??>

Other Thoughts:

Can't GPS Mount Perry. and don't turn go N off of rt.22 to the town of Mount Perry as the course is jus a short putt from the intersection to rt. 22/204.

Maybe they could elevate baskets # 1 and # 9 for even tougher putting conditions.
