It will cost you $16 to play here! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 9, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

It is a "kid friendly" ace run sort of course.

Cons:

There was no real design for this course. They just put rubber mats and temporary single chain baskets around the park and along a hiking trail. There is no real map or guides to were the next tees are. Some of the holes have little signs telling you which hole number it is.

Other Thoughts:

I went there in the rain, thinking that they would give me a break on admission or maybe let me play a round for free. Nope. $16 for a day pass. Regardless if you visit the caves or not. They were completely inflexible.

BEST KIDS COURSE EVER! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 24, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

I give this course a 3 because, for what the course is now advertised as, it is perfect! The owners are now calling this an "intro to disc golf" which is what it is. I have never seen a course before that 3-5 yr olds could really enjoy, this is perfect for the little ones. Remember, the future of the sport is in the youth. The owners also plan on adding a true 18 holer in the woods behind this mini-course. Once the real course is in this will be a great warm-up putting course, think about it, instead of just having one practice basket and tossing a few, walking back 30 feet and tossing again a few times, you could practice putting on all nine in 15 minutes before playing the main course. I think more courses should add mini-nines like this for putting practice and little kids.

Cons:

Its too bad they didnt advertise this as an "Intro to disc golf course" from the start because too many people got the wrong impression (see previous reviews).
Even as a mini-course it could use a few more trees or bushes to throw around.

Other Thoughts:

The caves are really cool!
This course could start a new trend in having mini-courses for kids and putting next to main courses. BRING KIDS HERE AND GET EM HOOKED!!!

not a course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 5, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

There is a cool cave system here.
Nine new innova baskets.

Cons:

This is not a course. It should not even be listed here. This is just nine baskets in a fenced in area about 75 yards square. This is just meant to keep kiddos busy while the parents scope out the scenery.

Other Thoughts:

The caves here are cool and the scenery was very nice. If you are going to see the caves with the family like I did then great, but dont even bother to bring your discs. Seriously this is not a course.

Not Worth It 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 24, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

New DisCatcher Sports
The Stone Bridge and Caves
The amenities around the course

Cons:

The Course. Every hole is shorter than 100 feet. 2 x 2 rubber mats are laid on the ground for tee boxes. They are like shower mats that are just laid on the ground. The course is set in one field with the temporary baskets and tee boxes just placed in random spots. Big tee signs and the fact that you can read the baskets from the tee pad makes it easy to navigate. It took me 15 minutes to play and I scored a 19.

Other Thoughts:

This should not be considered a disc golf course. It is like a miniature golf course. I only used my putter and could not throw harder than 50%. It is pretty funny that this was the first disc golf course that I ever had to pay for and it was by far the worst I have ever played. If you want to see amazing caves this is your spot, but do not go here to play disc golf. They have some amazing land and could have an awesome course, but for now, it is not worth the 3 dollars to play.
