Pros:

Found the park, unfortunately found no baskets.

Other Thoughts:

Looks like baskets have been pulled, and its easy to see why. This park is just too small. I could take a driver and throw completely across this park north to south or east to west. Maybe 100 yards by 35 yards wide. My guess is they were installed for putter practice and people started stretching the term putt farther and farther until they became a danger. Obviously, if they installed multiple baskets there was some thought of safari which would have been a bad idea with a park this small. Bottom-line there is no longer anything disc golf related here.

Your local Park Now with Baskets 2+ years

Pros:

For a little town park in the middle of Nevada it's got a lot going on. There is a baseball field, playground, basketball and tennis courts, a skate park, and 4 Discatchers. So why the family is taking in one of the many other activities at this park you could be practicing you putt and approach game.

Cons:

- This is a small park and could become crowded pretty quick. unless it's empty your not going to want to be throwing any drivers here.
- There is no signage/rules/game/tees set up to explain what the baskets are for and how to use them.
- There are only 4 baskets and 2 or 3 have something wrong with them. On one of them the bottom basket has fallen down, and on two others the outer set of chains have fallen.

Other Thoughts:

I think having a few baskets in parks like this is a great idea, however you need to do it right. Without a informative sign explaining the sport and a mock course or around the world/putting game setup the baskets are going to be misunderstood. Signage would help turn new players on to the game and help to keep the baskets from hopefully being abused.

With only 4 baskets I would have hoped the town could have kept up with them better. 3 out of 4 having some kinda issue isn't good.
