Keep on driving, not much to see here 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Okay recreational level course. Park has a couple of nice wooded holes on 2 & 3 with a slight elevation twist to them. Hole 8 has some decent challenge with the pin behind the water. Its likely you'll have this place to yourself, so you can do some safari.

Cons:

Pretty much everything else about this course. Holes 4, 6 and 7 are repetitive slight downhill grade shots with maybe one tree protecting the basket. Practice grade baskets that are rusting. No marked area on where it is safe to park your car (the car in Hole 8's picture is mine). Supposedly there is a ninth hole here, there are nine baskets and an unmarked tee sign pointing straight up the entry road towards the basket at the start of the course, but nothing definitive (see map). If there is anything else going on at the park (there is a motocross track to the north of the course), there's a good chance some degree of the course will be unplayable due to people parking on it.

Other Thoughts:

This course has been tweaked a few times. Originally, this course had one hole going directly over the pond, and supposedly one hole coming back. While challenging, It was a hole that was ridiculously hard in contrast to the rest of the course. Rumor was that people were losing too many discs, so it was changed. A full course map here would help things a little bit.

Unless you need to pad your course count, or just want to stretch your legs, I'd skip this one. There are better courses in nearby towns.

a waste of time 2+ years drive by

Pros:

a few fun and challenging holes, kind of surprised such a small town had a course

Cons:

Some of the signs were missing, in order to find some of the holes my friend had to look up the course on his blackberry. Also I may be wrong but it almost seemed that some of the baskets weren't there. The course was also somewhat hard to find and took a little bit to find the course. Most of the holes were stupidly simple, most of the holes were only 175ft to 250ft with no trees for the most part.

Other Thoughts:

This course could have some potential a couple of holes were fairly decent, but until changes are made to the course your better off going to Hutch or McPherson to get a round of disc golf in.
