Nice tee signs
Cons:
Bad layout. #2 goes across a soccer field and you can't play it when a game is going on. #4 is across a parking lot that sometime has cars in it, making it unplayable. #5 is next to a house that can be hit. #8 is through the woods with play structures in the way, the tee sign is hidden in some brush that hasn't been trimmed in awhile.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline this course is not worth playing, go to Machmueller instead. They could have put more of the holes in the wooded area on the property.

Pros:
Lots of open space if you want to practice just throwing in the field
A couple of holes use existing sidewalk, so you could say that they have a concrete tee.
Hospital next door if you get hurt
YMCA has bathrooms that you could use if anybody is there.

Other Thoughts:
This is a nine hole course that was built on an existing YMCA property. Most of the course is just in an open field next to the YMCA building. One of the holes crosses a soccer field, another goes directly over the parking lot you park in, making those two holes impossible to play if there is a soccer game or if there are any buses parked in the parking lot, which there usually is.
Holes 7 and 8 go through a little patch of woods on the property. Hole 7 goes directly down a walking path so at least it is playable. On hole 8 the tee sign is in the middle of a bunch of trees that have not been trimmed for what I would guess has to be a few years, as it is barely visible even from right next to it. There is basically no tee or fairway on that hole and a couple of kid type play buildings between were the basket and were the tee should be, so no path to the basket either.
Don't bother with this course - drive the extra 10 minutes and go to Macmueller Park which is only about 5 miles away.

MacMueller Park is no longer open, so don't bother stopping in Wausau for disc golf. If you are going south, continue on to Big Eau Plaine, Yulga or Standing Rocks. If you are going North hit Treehaven or Buck Lake.
