I stopped here as the first course on a small road trip. This was by far the worst course I've ever played....BY FAR. This course hasn't been maintained in years clearly. It's technically not even a course just some "baskets" in a super dense, mosquito infested woods with completely unrealistic "lines" to the "baskets". The pros are it's free, there's parking, technically there's baskets and....um that's it.

Everything about this place is a con. I've played 170 courses and nothing compares to this place. It is just awful.

This course shouldn't even be listed on here. Do not waste your time trying to play this ever. This is an absolute joke of a course. I gave it a 0. And out of 170 courses played I've never given any other course a 0. I've never actually even considered it. This course gave me no choice. It's that bad.

9 hole course in a boonie town outside of Appleton, in some woods behind a couple baseball diamonds.

Some nice, tight (but mostly fair) lines through some cool woods. In the winter, at least. I can definitely imagine this getting ugly in the summer without any upkeep. Hole 7 was especially cool, with a nice pine tree tunnel shot (reminiscent of BRP).

Navigation wasn't too bad, once you find the course behind the south baseball diamond, through the big wood doorway.

Natural tee pads.

Quite possibly the worst baskets ever created. They're basically 6 chain, cut out car tire, and a metal grate at the bottom. I felt like McBeth when I actually made a 20 footer on one of these. A couple of the baskets were in complete disrepair, leaned over and barely capable of even holding a disc.

No real tee signs, just poles in the ground with a hole number.

I've mentioned the "ultimate baggers course" before, but this bad boy takes the cake. You've gotta REALLY love to bag courses to even think about playing here.

It's just up the road from O'Hauser (about 8 miles), so if you're a severe masochist (like me), stop in and check it out.

There used to be a course here that was maintained. I hope someone pays attention and spends some time to make this course playable.

Literally this course was unplayable. You would not want to walk down these fairways that had been overgrown with raspberries, poison ivy, and all sorts of stuff.

There were only a couple baskets visible and they were pretty beat up and in disrepair. They were homemade also so they were not built to last real long.

I will update this review if/when I hear that something has changed about this course.

Nine holes of disc golf brand newness.
Tees marked by white tube in the ground.
Navigation helped considerably by noting wooden arrows attached to trees to send you in the correct direction. (Number of holes offer multiple paths to choose to walk. Slow down....and take the time, after each hole out to note where arrow is pointing you....)
Narrow fairway golf. If you like wooded fairways; you'll enjoy throwing some of these shots.
Actually one hole here (#7?) that reminded me of a short version of the famous narrow pine shot at Blue Ribbon Pines. (albeit lots of undergrowth here; which is not present at Blue Ribbon).
Decent use of moderate elevation.
Full nine loop brings you back to start.

Undergrowth on this course is growing up again very quickly. You will spend some time on nearly every hole looking for plastic. Not outrageous amounts of time; but, more than likely, some time on every hole. If you're not playing quality fairway golf; you may be looking quite a bit....
Homemade baskets are unique; and I, in general, like to play interesting targets....but, between two of us; there were at least three putts of 18 total that should have stayed home and didn't.
A couple of the baskets already have the tire/bottom bucket assembly leaning heavily to one side or the other; i.e. one side is higher than the other.
Chains already unattached on a few of the baskets; and hanging loosely.
Natural tees. In great shape at this time; though not clearly defined. You simply throw behind the tube in the ground. Concrete markers on a couple; to let you know where end of pad is.

So, this one is a "one and done," type of course. It's not a pitch and putt; though there is nothing over 300 ft. Holes are relatively short and tight. You'll have fun, if you love disc play; but, nothing will grab you and make you want to return.
Play fairway golf here; and, perhaps have a spotter on a couple of the blind holes. As I noted in the pros; there is one and another similar; that are reminiscent of the famous tunnel shot at Blue Ribbon; though, not nearly as long. This tends to be the style here; narrow fairway disc....
As you park at the ball diamonds; look past the home run fence, and you'll see a wooden arch. Go through arch, and course begins shortly. From this point, your play will be a walk in the woods. Keep a sharp eye out for wooden next tee arrows attached to trees.
Fairways are primarily wooded lanes that have been cut out. The undergrowth is coming back in, in a big way, leaving lots for discs to hide in. It's not horrendous; but undergrowth is present on every hole...tons of new little trees and brush.
I shot a +1 with a couple of bogeys; playing partner shot a -2 with at least one. So, most holes easily reachable; but, misplayed shots can lead to trouble as well. No real trouble regarding rollaways or anything; but fairly tough to get all the putts you need to stay in the homemade buckets. Boy Scout efforts appreciated; and the design here is not bad; but neither is it anything special. Course is not far from Irish Road intersection; you could take the back way in from O'Hauser Park, on Irish. If I come back to this course in the future, I'll try that route. Don't forget to look for the arch to go through; beyond the outfield fence; to begin your round....

Its in a nice wooded area, slightly hilly, but mostly flat. The course offers a nice challenge, and is a nice surprise for a hidden 9 hole course put together by a boyscout troop. The paths are clearly carved out, but if you throw off the fairway you will be walking over tree trimmings to get it. Possible overgrowth later in the year.

No distance markers or maps, each hole is marked with a PVC pipe with the hole # marked on it, and the hole's par marked on it.

No tee pads, some holes have a cement block in the ground to mark the start, the rest we just started behind the hole marker.

The baskets are homemade, some of the chains barely help catch the disc, others are pulled so tight that they reject the disc. It's best to aim to put your disc inside the tire rather than to hit the chains.

mosquitos, bring bug spray, especially in the fall. This course is probably best played in spring or early summer.

Holes 5 and 6 markers are messed up. I believe hole 6 should be hole 5, and hole 6 has a cement block and a stake the probably used to have a pvc pipe on it. I would assume some kids moved the pvc marker from hole 6 to hole 5.

Overall the course is an enjoyable experience, but is not something I would consider a high ranking course that is a must play. If you're in the area with free time it's worth checking out; but if not, check out the other wonderful courses around the fox cities first.

The course is located across the street from the church, behind the southern baseball diamond. There are no signs, so don't expect anything to tell you where the course is.
