Don't Bother 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 8, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

If you're in the area and want to squeeze in a couple throws it's a quick three holes.

Cons:

Very difficult to find the markers. They are concrete cylinders that are flush to the ground. The first one is behind the course marker. The second one is behind the first basket. And I could't find the third one.

I also played the course the wrong way because their is literally no markers or guides to tell you which way to play.

Other Thoughts:

Don't waste your time. Their's enough courses nearby that are much better than this one.

Somebody really wanted baskets to throw at 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 20, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

3 baskets.
Short bag to pad course counts.
Could play while your kids played basketball or something.
Place to get field work done and have objectives in mind.

Cons:

The tee pads are hard to actually see in the ground. They are marked by two flush to the ground markers and are painted for the varying levels of difficulty. I couldn't even find all of them.
The course plays very close to walking paths and other park things. Literally plays through a soccer field on hole 3.

Other Thoughts:

This just feels like someone was advocating for a course super close to them and this is what they ended up with. Good for them.

Good for practice 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 20, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

There are three baskets. That's the biggest pro. Leading up to each basket is a line of trees that add some difficulty and might allow you to simulate wooded play. However, nothing prevents you from just throwing around the trees. If you're looking to practice, this is a good place to make up your own holes, as it's not likely anyone will be playing behind you.

Next to the baskets is a soccer field with two nets that's a good place for beginners to throw and have something with which they can measure their distance. You also won't be in much danger of losing a disc.

Cons:

The baskets are kind of ratty and crooked. I saw only two tees but apparently there are three for each hole. No pars are marked, not that it matters much for this "course,"

Each basket is by the walking path, which is frequently used, so you might have to watch out for pedestrians. The baskets are also literally surrounded by three baseball fields and a soccer field. Make a bad throw and you might interrupt a game.

Not long before I left, two kids decided to throw their football in the middle of where I was throwing, as if there weren't at least four other wide open fields in which they could throw.

Warm Up Time! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 2, 2010 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Great place to warm up your skills. The baskets are placed in such a way where you can make up your own holes if you wanted to play 9 holes or so.

If you need to work on your putting/short game, this is a good place to go.

The basket in the back is setup perfectly for some really fun shots.

Cons:

The park can get crowded, which can make it difficult to play. The tees are hard to find, and the baskets are very cheap and not stable. Only one set of chains makes it a bit harder to putt.

Other Thoughts:

It's a shame that there's not really enough room to put 9 in here, because this area needs a course.
