Pros:
The baskets are in great condition.
It is fairly wooded, but most holes have decent lanes to throw through or hyzer around. Includes a 400+ open hole. In only 10 holes, it incorporates a good mix of wooded, open, long and short. Really great utilization of the grounds for the course.
Cons:
Most of the holes play straight on, so not much variety or strategy needed in shot types.
Not really much of a con, but hole 9 crosses a road and parallels a walking path. There is typically someone walking the path and cars passing.
Signs/distance markers would be nice and a course guide/map is necessary (will upload one soon).
Other Thoughts:
I found this course to be enjoyable - it's good for a quick round and allows you to throw some solid drives.
There are no tee pads, but this does not seem to be an issue. When trying to identify the tee area, look for square stones (painted white or blue) that outline the front of the tee area. The tee areas are typically pinestraw, but are flat with no roots or rocks to interrupt a drive. There is some utilization of a walking path as the tee pad on hole 3. Hole 3 has an alternate tee area, in the event you do not want to throw over the water.
Need permission from RTI security or play with an RTI employee.
