A must redesign course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 26, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

tees are marked
GREAT baskets
nice little park

Cons:

crisscrossing fairways
Tee's are marked with posts in the ground, in the front AND BACK of the tee box. You better not slip or you are in for some major pain.
VERY short holes. I used my putter on nearly every hole.

Other Thoughts:

I was not expecting much, this is a very small town and a long way from the next closest course.

however, you should NEVER design holes that cross one another. Just about every hole crossed over another holes fairway or too close to the tee box/basket of another hole.

there is A LOT OF ROOM out there. Even if the city would not let you use all the park, the course could have been designed without crossing fairways.

I still gave it a 1.5, mostly because of the crossing fairways and the way the tee boxes are marked. The back side stakes of the tee box are right where I start my 3 step throw. Then if you slip on the front, or back of the tee box, you could fall on those markers and really hurt yourself.

Please redesign this course, I don't mind it being short, it is the first course in this area and SHOULD be a beginner course.

However you MUST redo those tee markers (make the front ones further apart, then remove the back markers)

Great Course! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 15, 2010 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Tree obstacles make this course Great Fun. A slight hill at Holes #1 and #9 is nice also. Mostly shaded from the sun - hitting the branches can be frustrating, but that's all part of it! Plenty of parking - playground close - bathrooms clean.

Cons:

Only nine holes so far - talk on course of possibly more to come... No signage to show par or where next hole is - But the city is working on that - the par signs should be up soon.

Other Thoughts:

Great course - Play till sunset - then drive less than a half mile to the awesomest Drive In movie theater around!
