Good beginner course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 11, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

•DGA Mach V Baskets •Nice signage •Mostly Open, with a few lightly wooded and a few tight fairways. •average length 250ft. •Most baskets are bordering on the edge of woods, with underbrush. #11 pin placement on the levee is the "signature hole". Overall a strong beginner course that shows beginners the possibilities of hole design.

Cons:

Tees are natural. Being a new course they are good, for now. Tees are also way to close to the baskets,no more than 5',on a handfull of holes. A few holes cross fairways. The last 2 holes play the paved park road as the fairway. Handfull of holes play over the park road. Almost all holes have some kind of other other activities you throw over.

Other Thoughts:

Call first before you play! Not only to ask to play but if ANY activity is happening areas of the course will be un-safe to play. Not sure if the woods to the east are the camps, but if they are it would be nice to move a few holes into them.
