This Course Is Sixy! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 26, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course may only have 6 holes, but it is not completely simple. There are a few Plain Jane Boring Holes, but it also has a few holes that will make you want to tee off multiple shots. Holes 2 and 4 are plain wide-open shots, but the rest of the course has you at least trying to avoid something. Hole 1 and 6 are valley shots and 6 has a chance of you getting into a creek on the right. Hole 1 was my favorite as the basket is uphill over the valley and placed with trees around it. #3 has some elevation to it with trees guarding the basket. #5 is a hole with trees blocking the direct path. This park is beautiful and parking was ok. The tee signs were nice with the next tee marked on them. Navigation was not an issue. The baskets were in great shape. The dirt/grass tee pads were flat and decent.

Cons:

Even though the dirt tee pads were in good shape, only a little water will get them muddy. There are people walking around so you do have to watch out for that. The hole length does not vary much. The walks between holes certainly made you think they could have gotten an entire nine holes in here or at least made some of the lengths a bit different.

Other Thoughts:

The Fun Factor here was good. The holes with the trees were nice and I really liked #1. The 2 simple holes slowed the excitement down quickly. I have played other 6 hole courses and this was a good one compared to those. I would actually come play this again. It a great place to play if you only have a little time.

Central Park 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 16, 2010 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

New Course to the area, some slightly technical shots(3) and 3 open feildy shots, its not a backhand dominant course which is good. Quiet for now... And extremely clean

Cons:

"Fieldy" holes, not 9 holes when 9 would be super easy to put in.

Other Thoughts:

Great to get more courses to the area so any new course is awesome! Really not that bad if you live in superior and dont feel like chasing discs in loggers maze or wanna drive that far.
