*Very well-kept greens, with easy naviagation.
*All the baskets were in good shape.
*Short distances and easy par system for the kids.
*Great place for an Ace Race!

*Not much of a challenge for an advanced player.
*Wildlife and bugs can become overwhelming in the hot summers.

Although this course was really easy for me, my kids had a great time with the easy par system. This course is a fun, fast, family friendly course for all ages. A great course if you are already in the area!

Nice little college course.
Should be pretty easy to get par on and even a couple of aces
not worth travelling to get to but if you are on the way through its a good way to break up a drive or something.

This appears to be the only place to play disc golf in the area without driving an hour. Holes 2 & 5 are actually pretty good holes that wouldn't be unwelcome on most courses. The pars here are *very* charitable, so you too can feel like Nikko when you curse the fact your eagle putt fell short.

Definitely print the map off - it's a little difficult to find the next tee on a few of the holes the first time through. It would be nice if the baskets for 2 & 5 were painted something eye-catching, because they're almost impossible to see even when you know where they are. Lots of prickly and thorny things in the rough. I played on a Saturday when no one was there, but I imagine it would be difficult to play when classes let out since many of the shots are around sidewalks and buildings.

When you drive in the entrance, take the first fork to the right. Look for the sign that has the Admin Building and Fitness trail on it; park nearby because the 1st hole is to the right & across the street from that sign.

I made this course more enjoyable by simply playing hole to hole (ie, using the area around a basket as the tee to the next basket) once I understood the layout. Next time I'll try that in reverse. This course is definitely pretty modest, but not a bad way to kill a few hours in Waycross. I feel bad criticizing it too much because I imagine a single dedicated individual put a lot of hard work into creating it. So, whoever you are, thanks for your effort!

Waycross is a quick nine holes of disc golf which is not far from the main road going through town. It's a clean, easy course to play that shouldn't cause many problems for new players. The fairways are generous and the rough is light. Though the signs are illegible, the basket can typically be seen from the tee. The course definitely has the potential to be a fun round, especially if you like ace runs.

This is not a course that will provide much challenge to anyone who has played a few times before. The majority of the baskets are sitting under 150 feet from the tee and right in the open.
There are a few places where buildings are in the flight paths. Six goes right across the university road.
The natural tees are not so much tees as often root covered area near to the signs.
The signs bear no information but the hole number.
You need the map, basket-to-tee routing is rarely intuitive.
It is a long way from the nine basket to the one tee and both are quite far from the parking lot and tough to find. I started on 7, since it was close to the lot.
Grass in the fairways is long in many spots. Not sure how much maintenance this one gets.

Unless you right there, this niner is not worth any travel.

*All DGA goals in great shape.

*Very easy navigation with signage.

*Very well-maintained greens, with a lot of parking available.

*Beginner Friendly with a forgivable "par system", and fun for an advance player to lay down eagles and birdies.

*Although the course length is small, the land was used to it's maximum potential with the medium amount of trees.

*Short Distances and easy "PAR" system can become boring for players seeking a challenge.

*Very little buffer zones between holes, which would make it easy to hit another player on the hole in front of you.

*Natural tee pads, "dirt" can make it hard to get grip on certain holes.

If you are in the area, It is a fun, fast 9 holes that has an easy par system for a very relaxed day of golf. The Waycross College campus was very quiet, and had very nice kept greens for a free course, there are tennis courts and restrooms for the kids to play.

The peasant nine hole course is located among the pine trees on a well manicured college campus. Most of the holes are located away from other campus activates. The course is beginner friendly, but does offer enough of a challenge to give most disc golfers a challenge. The course designer came up with about as much variety as the property would allow.

It is a bit of a walk from hole nine back to hole one.

It is nice to finally have a course in the Waycross region of the state.
