Haven for Beginners. 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 19, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

--Good tee signs--they are the typical little plastic ones on the metal pole, but they aren't faded like most. It's also good to have 'next tee' markers on the signs.

--Good Flow. You don't have to walk too far from basket to tee.

--The bookend holes (1&2, 8&9) are fun.

--Baskets are in good shape.

--Course doesn't get much traffic.

Cons:

--Not very creative--there are plenty of woods and obstacles around, but most of the holes meander in a wide-open field.

--Teeboxes are pretty rutted out.

--Private. As always, ask if you can play there.

Other Thoughts:

Keep in mind that this course is designed for young kids--it's on the grounds for a "school for safety patrol". It's a short course--the longest hole is 250' and most are ace runs. That being said, if I was a nine year old being introduced, I think I would be bored by the time I got to hole 6. I suppose the plus side of this would be that the designers didn't scare away beginners by making the course too difficult.

I rated this a "2" for beginners, but for an experienced disc golfer it isn't worth the stop.

This course isn't near anything, so don't waste your time by going out of your way.
