SBHS DGC is the shortest 9 hole course, scratch that, shortest course in general I've ever played. It's located on the west side of the Streamwood Behavorial Health System campus. It's tucked into the lawn area of the western most buliding on the campus. It's a minor miracle that they fit nine holes here. Kind of impressive to be honest.

The baskets are Gateway Titans that were all in good shape and caught nicely. One basket and pin position per hole.

The length of all the holes are under 100 feet. Most of them are just putts. I believe the longest hole was listed as 95 feet. That's not a typo, 95'.

The tee signs are very basic. Hole #, par and distance (distances ARE in feet not meters). There's a basic hole map which is completely unneeded since every basket is less than 100 feet in front of you. Good on them having signs though.

The course is permanent and free to play.

It feels like you shouldn't be here. I've played some sketchy courses in my time but this one just felt like I REALLY shouldn't be here. So much so that we speed played it. I think we were only there for 15 minutes max.

The course is essentially just putts. The course should be played with your putting putter. That's all you'll need here. I've never seen a course like this before. I thought it was missing a digit when I saw the course length and under 1000'.

No signature holes, nothing memorable even besides the sheer miniture nature of this design.

I would recommend giving this one a shot due entirely to the uniqueness of the course itself. I've played well over 800 courses and this is one of the most unique ones I've ever seen. Is it a good course. Absolutely not, not even close. It's so bad that it's a borderline must play though, if that makes sense.

This course has been pretty well summed up by the prior reviews. I came out around 5:30 AM on a Saturday to intentionally not be in the way on private property, but I still felt distinctly like I was trespassing. This is probably more my paranoia about rulebreaking than anyone actually caring - by all accounts if you aren't causing a disturbance here, nobody pays you any attention.

This course is really only worth it for baggers, especially given it's on private property. If you want a joke of an ace run you could come out here, but even for a beginner it's going to get tedious fast. You will only need your putter. I love the intent of a small, simple course as a recreation opportunity for those at the behavioral health center. I hope they actually use it because I know disc golf is super therapeutic for me and I'd love for it to be of benefit to others as well.

The baskets are in decent shape, and while there is nothing special about this course, it is essentially a real 9 hole course if you can overlook the distance. Some shots are close to the parking lots and whatnot, but the distance is so short you really don't have to worry about bombs getting away from you or anything.

As you might expect, there's no real amenities here such as practice basket, bathrooms, garbage cans, etc. It will probably take you all of 20 minutes to play so I don't see this as much of a factor.

It's perhaps worth stopping by just to check it off if you're drawn to do that like I am, but otherwise it's really not of any benefit to real disc golf players. I hope the SBHS makes good use of it and continues to maintain it.

I'm not sure if this course should even be on here. It felt more like a private fun putting course.

The course is on the grounds of Streamwood Behavioral Health Services. It's a large medical facility with multiple buildings. The disc golf is beside the building on the left as you drive in.

The tiny course has nice, new metal signs on posts and Gateway Titans baskets. There are no tee pads as you just tee off from beside the baskets. The holes range from 50' to 100'.

This course is designed for the youth being treated here. It is a private course so being discreet in the plan. There is a constant stream of staff members coming and going. They didn't appear very interested in me.

The course has some tight little hyser throws, one basket around a corner, the basket for # 4, is buried in the tall grass and there seems to be no sign for # 8.

The first round I played here, I aced the 100' # 2 and then aced the 70' # 7 hole. So combined with my seven other birdies, I shot a - 11. That might be close to a course record and the closet I've ever come to holding a course record of any kind. Played a second round and couldn't putt one in. I wanted to stay all day and chase little, short aces.

The course is a 1 but I'm adding an extra 1/2 point for letting me throw two ACES.

This is a private course for a behavioral health center. It is mainly there to give the residents some organized, physical activity. IT IS NOT FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS!

-Gateway Titan baskets (this was my first time playing on Titans and was impressed by their catching ability and sturdy design)

This is course is not for anyone who would find out about it through DGCR. It is solely for absolute beginners.

When compared to any other DG course this place comes off as a joke. Most of the course users have probably never played, so it is fine for them. The rest of us should just avoid this one. When we played there was a volleyball net set up 20' in front of the tee for hole 2.

- Course is set on private grounds, so play is not guaranteed. A walking path is also next to some holes.
- Holes actually force some line shaping, with a few necessary RHBH hyzers, straight shots, and a few that had me using a putter flick shot.
- Some pretty well protected baskets due to trees or the adjacent forest, bad shot placement can lead to an awkward or blocked putt.
- Good signs, super fantastic awesome Gateway Titan baskets. Navigation easy except for no tee sign on #8?

- This is indeed a beginner's course, with extremely short holes (60'ers and such). It is not really a place for anyone other than the truly new.

- The short, short hole lengths are offset very well with some shrubbery and trees, so there is definitely thought and accuracy required. Still more like mini disc golf (with or without minis).

I want to start by saying that for what this course is designed for, it's absolutely perfect. It's clearly intended to be an organized activity for the younger patients at this facility. To that end, it's short without being wide open and boring, it's got great baskets (brand new Gateway Titans), and perfectly good signage that shows the hole distance and layout. The distances are appropriate for kids, and make it so that if all they have is cheap beach frisbees, they can still have a good time. I do rate all courses on the same scale, so this one doesn't really stack up as a great course, but I want to make it clear that I really appreciate the thought that went into designing it to be fun and challenging for the intended audience.

For a course with no holes over 100 feet, there are actually some fun shots here. Many holes have trees and bushes in play that make you take some creative lines to the pin, only a couple are wide open. The woods that border many of the holes are dense enough that errant shots might put you in a tough spot, but not so thick that lost discs are really a possibility.

This course isn't even a pitch n putt, it's a putt n putt. Compared to any real course, there's no challenge and no real variety, all you have to do is jump putt or throw a short approach shot on every hole (again, I get that it wasn't designed to challenge adults or experienced players, just a con based on how I evaluate every course). Even throwing zephyrs, I shot an 18, and Ashleigh shot a 20.

Hole 8 is missing it's sign, it's not that big a deal, you can make up an appropriate tee location for now near 7s basket. There are some holes playing pretty close to the parking lot and driveways, could be a safety issue with discs going into that area, and kids following after. There is a walk from 8 to 9 that's not immediately obvious, after hole 8 walk back toward the basketball court near hole 1.

I love the idea of using disc golf as a structured recreational activity here, and whoever designed the course did a perfect job for these kids. I hope the course gets used a lot! Kids and beginners with no disc or frisbee experience at all will have a great time here, with 50-100' holes and some different hole shapes. Experienced players won't find any challenge here, but it wasn't designed for you so don't go unless you want to check it off or you have some kids to introduce to the sport.

We had no problems parking or playing on a Sunday afternoon, so I don't know what the deal is with playing during the week, it is a private facility so players should take extra care to be respectful of the property and stay out of the way of staff and patients.
