The course plays around a ski area, using a few of the ski runs and the woods between. Nearly every hole has nice elevation from a couple downhill bombs to some technical tough uphills. Many of the greens have rollaway potential to add some risk to the short game as well. The course overall strikes a nice balance with more downhill shots than uphill, but a good enough mix to keep it from feeling repetitive. There is length variety too, with a couple that let you really air it out and some shorter holes withace run potential.

There's a pretty good mix of left and right turning holes, you'll need to hit a variety of lines to be successful here. Many of the holes offer tight technical lines through the woods with thick enough trees to punish errant shots. The open holes usually bring areas of woods and brush into play so you can't just throw for uncontrolled distance. The signage is good with hole layout and distance and a course map at the beginning. There are maps available at the pro shop that are accurate and helpful. There were some nice touches, like picnic tables at a few of the tees and a big jug of cold water that's kept filled about half way through the course.

A few holes bring some large areas of long grass into play, not my favorite type of obstacle. It wastes time and discs without really affecting your next shot. There are a few spots where navigation can be tricky, but if you grab a map it won't be a problem. Some of the rubber tees were uneven and lumpy, and a few held puddles of water. The course was lacking the huge air it out downhill shot I always look forward to at a ski hill, though there are a couple places you get to watch the disc fly some.

This isn't a very beginner friendly course, with some tight lines and very thick punishing rough with some thorny areas. More experienced players will find some really fun challenges here, and enough variety to test some different parts of your game. It's not a true championship level layout, but it has enough difficulty to test us mortals.

$10 is a bit steep, but I understand the resort wanting to keep the prices in line with other activities that include lift tickets. It's not a bad walk up, I wish they offered a cheaper price for people willing to spend the extra 45 minutes or those with dogs who can't ride the lift. There are some excellent views at the top and throughout the course, and the waterfall by hole 18 is a beautiful finish to a fun round.

I drove over an hour to play this course and I was taken back that it was $10.00 per round. There are some fun holes but like other mt courses the holes are up or down ski runs and the target is stuffed somewhere along the side of the trail. In fact some 13 holes play on a ski trail. Oh and did I say it is $10 per round.

Do not go up unless you are in a group of 3-4 players. Spotters are needed if you want to play under 3.5 hours. Once you get to #6 you can expect leg shred if you do not keep it in play. I would have played another round but I was not going to pay again.

Scenic lift access, diverse shots, good flow, good combination of "mountain style" holes and "park-esque" holes. The use of rubberized tees and chainstar baskets as always nice. Signage is professional.

The rough is ROUGH! No forward tees. No day use rate.

Strong course set on one of central Vermont's most beautiful ski areas. Higher elevation means less bugs and cooler temps. Bring a posse to make disc searching go faster.
