Pros:

This neat little course is in the Aller park just east of the VW plant and Museum(our reason for being in town) and is surprisingly tough for a short park course. Starts about 2/3 of the way along the north side of the lake and plays around the east end and back.
Tees are marked by wooden posts with red paint on the top and the tee Number. I 1st saw the practice basket(hard to tell, no numbers on baskets) and 1st tee was close to it.
The course plays through an arboretum for part of it, and has a decent variety of looks and shots necessary. I only played the 1st 9 due to time constraints, and was very windy, didn't want to lose disc in nasty slough along 4 of the holes throwing into a headwind on way back.
The course is in a beautiful park with lots of other stuff to do. including swimming, and has all the amenities you could ask for, including bbq grills.

Cons:

Tees are grass so there are the usual problems with trip hazards, including gopher(or whatever local varmint are) holes. There are no numbers on the baskets, but that isn't much of a problem once you get started.
A couple fairways are narrow with an errant disc going into afore mentioned slough or lake, not good on a cold windy day like today.
I'ld say biggest con is that it throws along the main bike/ pedestrian path going around the lake. Even early on a cool windy weekday there was a fair bit of traffic. Could be hazardous or impossible to throw on a busy summer day.

Other Thoughts:

This is a serviceable course in a lovely town. We came for VW plant, but there are also a couple castles and an interactive science museum so plenty to do for everyone.

Very fun round! 2+ years

Pros:

a) This is a very memorable course to play. The flow is super logical because the first nine play around a lake clockwise and the back nine play on the same baskets just counterclockwise, which also makes it fair for right/left handed people.

b) Fun variety of shots. There are 115 foot ace run island holes, tight technical drives, and completely open shots. It's not the most challenging course, by any means, but it's very fun. A tip I would give here is not to try to park every shot, but rather play it safe because if you throw hard and end up left or right of the fairway, your disc is either in the lake or in the thick weeds. I lost a disc here because I was playing too aggressively.

c) The area here is fantastic. When you're done disc golfing, be sure to check out the Volkswagon Arena (where a 1st Bundesliga soccer team plays) and the VW Factory. I liked this town a lot!!

Cons:

a) The biggest con this course has is that almost every hole plays right next to the main path that goes around the lake. On a crowded day, this unfortunately makes the course basically unplayable.

b) You can't really grip and rip here for fear of losing a disc. Most holes are shorter and geared towards beginner players who can't throw over 300 feet.

Other Thoughts:

My favorite of the four courses I played in this area. I played here on a rainy day when not much was going on, but I can definitely, definitely imagine that a lot of people here can completely ruin a round. I guess you'll just have to get lucky and see. :)
