Mostly short practice holes that are fun to do ace races on. Most holes have an ace opportunity. Once you figure out the course the first time its actually a fun little course. Some good elevation changes for such a small area. The designer did, in my opinion; very well for what was there to work with. Close to town. You could play a couple rounds on it, go grab a bite to eat, come back and play a couple more rounds, and still have a big chunk of day. If I was going to school there, I would be out there every day!

No tee pads, signage, or even markers to show where to tee off from. Basically my brother and I both had to have our phones out to figure out how to navigate. One with the course map and one with the DGCR pictures while looking for heavily used areas in the grass to find out where to tee off from. We are still unsure if we teed of from the exact spots. Some kind of markers would be great. Baskets are not numbered. My brother and I took a sharpee and wrote the basket number on 4 sides of each basket but I'm sure that will wear off in a month. I could see how it would be very uncomfortable to play if there were any other sporting events going on at the campus.

Some really inexpensive things could be done to really make this course worth while. Even some mailbox number stickers would be great to add on each basket for easier navigation. And some sort of marker or signage for tee pad locations are definitely needed. If disc golfers passing through on a road trip were able to stop in and see exactly where to throw from/throw to I'm sure this course would get much better reviews. Most won't take the time to figure out each hole. Even if it was just a fence pole per tee location, anything would help. It is a very enjoyable course if you know how to play it! The campus is very nice with views of the mountains in the background. The land the course is on (as small as it may be) is pretty nice with grassy fairways, lots of trees, and does involve a bit of elevation. The 8 baskets that were upright were in great condition. The design is decent considering what little land there is to work with. There are some wide open holes and some with trees to avoid, up and down elevation- both steep and gradual, and hole to hole length varies as well.

This course is intended to be a quick recreational activity for college students, nothing serious or difficult, just a place to chuck some frisbees with your friends between classes. It is a very quick play- I stopped here on my way to Virginia just to kill some time, but it only took about 20 minutes to play the course by myself.

First, there are no tee pads or tee signs or anything that marked where the locals may tee off from- I made my own tees as best I could using the course map I had printed. Then basket #5 was broken-in two pieces and laying sideways. (*Update- I played the course a few months later and #5 was fixed, but #9 was now broken in the same manner!) Hole #5 appeared to play over or very near to a parking lot which could be a hazard when cars are parked there. Many of the fairways (2/5 and 3/4) were dangerously close to others, as they almost shared/crossed; and with some blind shots due to trees and hills, this could potentially lead to injury. (However, it seemed highly unlikely that you would ever encounter anybody else on this course.)

I am glad the college students and locals have a place to learn the game of disc golf, but nobody should go out of their way to play here. (I don't even recommend it if it is on your way!) But if you must, the 2nd entrance to the college takes you to the course and parking is behind the indoor practice facility next to the baseball and football stadiums (which are both incredibly nice for a tiny college.)
