Didn't Expect Much, Got Less 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:May 4, 2013 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Accessible from the train. Forgiving wide open fairways for inexperienced players to work on distance and control. Great for beginners learning flight paths too. Clean, nicely groomed fairways and well defined OB lines. Decent hole length

Cons:

No tee pads or any other markers for that matter. It's a recreation park course, so there were lots of people in the fairways. It wasn't a full 9, let alone 18. Baskets 6 & 7 were removed. No trees or other obstructions to shoot challenge advanced players

Other Thoughts:

Discgolfinkorea.com provided a satellite photo of how to get there from the nearest train station, which helped a lot. The walk takes longer than it looks and a good deal of the walking is up hill. You can imagine my disappointment when I found people picnicking and playing games all over most fairways. I had to skip over a few holes and more than once did someone watch my disc land, look at me, and then attempt to throw it back. The biggest disappointment was that baskets 6 and 7 were removed from one of the only stretches that didn't have people occupying the fairway. Those guys need to do a better job informing players about course changes. I would recommend going on a weekday or early in the morning. The course has some potential though. It could maybe get up to a 2.5, but that would take some work.

Update: This course no longer exists. In typical fashion, nobody was informed about the removal of all the baskets. Apparently, it was a short term experiment on barrowed land. Maybe it will come back, but probably not.

Pros:

It is long wide open course.

Cons:

It does not have any teepads or tee markers,it does not have numbers on the baskets. It does not have a map; and it has too many baskets(which makes it hard to figure out which on goes to which hole).

Other Thoughts:

It also has very thick grass and weeds, so it is very hard to find your discs.
