Pros:
-Unique baskets. Also very sturdy, props to whomever made them
-This is a really nice park with about everything you expect to find in a small town park and more including a water park, campground, multiple baseball fields, volleyball courts, benches, walking paths, etc
-Close to I-80, easy to find
-Adequate parking
-clean
Cons:
-Dangerous. Holes 1 and 2 and 7-9 are the least dangerous and they are still pretty much not playable if there is a soccer game for 1-2 or a baseball game for 7-9. The other ones throw over parking lots, sidewalks, and right through the volleyball court. There simply isn't enough room for everything they tried to put into this course.
-The flow is horrible. 1 and 2 are easy to find but then 3 is far away and the gap from 6 to 7 was horrible too. Very poor signage doesn't help at all.
-Course is flat, short, and unimaginative. Even if it weren't dangerous, it wouldn't be very fun.
Other Thoughts:
-This course is in the middle of what might be one of the worst stretches of disc golf out there. This course, Palmer Park in Brady and Plum Creek in Lexington are really bad. The course in Gothenburg pulls up the average very slightly.
-This place really isn't worth a stop for any reason unless you are a course bagger like me. There are multiple other reasons to stop while traveling I-80 so that's not a reason either.
-Like I said earlier, there really isn't room for a course here. They might not have another adequate park in town so I can't blame them.
