Reviewed: Played on:Aug 1, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

Elevation changes
Open course for airing out the disc
Good use for what they have
Some longer par 3's

Cons:

9 hole but an 18 wont fit on the property
somewhat confusing to navigate the first time
Not many technical shots

Other Thoughts:

This is a good one to stop at if you are passing through. We met Brandon and Brooke and they were very nice and explained the course layout to us. Tee one is behind the big cross on the hill. Thanks for setting this course up and maintaining the grass.

Long 9 Hole Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 24, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Elevation comes into play on every hole.
-Tee signs for every hole
-Alt. tees on some holes (I only saw alternates on #4 & #7 but I wasn't really looking...)
-Low traffic
-Nice, friendly people. *Church-goer went out of his way to introduce himself and tell me what he knew about the course.*

Cons:

-InStep baskets
-Tee signs need maintenance.
-No benches or trash cans, anywhere.
-Natural tees.
-Slightly overgrown around baskets.
-Holes #2 & #4 both throw over Hole #1's fairway.

Other Thoughts:

Hole# 1 starts on the top of the hill behind the church and #9 finishes in front of the church.

Not one to go out of your way for but if you live in or around Laurel it's worth it.

The baskets are "Temporary" InStep but there are permanent tee signs and the course has been there for at least a couple of years (according to the church member I spoke to).

Nice new course! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Mar 29, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

Nice course for driving. Easy access and no traffic.

Cons:

Sticker bushes and poison ivy in the brush. Be prepared. Not too many turns or technical throws.

Other Thoughts:

A work in progress...great job on putting a course together. Kudos.
