Fun 9 hole 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 1, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

Nice tee pads baskets and flow. Good use of park. Good baskets and tee pads. I have played dozen of FLOOD parks 9/10 put the play into the flood zone. This park did really good at playing along the flood area but out of it. Great use of limited land. Great pads and baskets.

Cons:

No real signs except the master but super easy to follow. A little short but small park. I wish they used more trees and planted more trees on north of park for 6-7

Other Thoughts:

If your in town for sure play this course fast and easy or driving through. But dont go out of your way

2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 16, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

This is a new course that should only get better once the vegitation developes. They had a very nice billboard near tee pad #1 with a nice map of the course. The baskets are in great shape. They have plans on improving the tee pads.

Cons:

This was put in a park that appears to be the place for all the rainwater to collect as it runs off the streets. This isn't much of a problem in west Texas, but I can see it to occasionally be a problem. I also realize you sometimes have to use what you are given.

Other Thoughts:

Once they put in the new tee pads it should be much better. I hope they also put some kind of marker that sits above ground level so you can see the next tee pad from the basket.

Andrew's Wetlands 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 16, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

There is a parking lot across the street. I liked that they had a map so you could find your way around. The course makes a loop so you start and end right by the parking lot.The baskets were DISCatcher. There were a few fun holes including 8 and 9 were there were actual obstacles. 8 you throw down a tunnel of trees and 9's basket is surrounded by trees with not a very big line off of the tee box.

Cons:

The course isn't hard to navigate but signs are always welcome. There weren't any tee pads. I do not consider a square block of concrete a tee pad it just mark where to throw for each hole. Most holes were open with no sort of obstacles, including no trees on four and five. There is a walking path throughout the course, so be careful for walkers/joggers. Also holes 4 and 5 are right next to a playground which is not safe with kids playings near by.

Other Thoughts:

This course is nothing special but at least they have a course in a small town to get people familiar with the game.

Waiting for the grass to come in 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 21, 2012 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

New park so the basket are brand new. Most of the holes have decent length to practice driving. The wetlands in the middle of the park is a nice touch. Good use of the few trees on the course to present a little extra challenge.

Cons:

The course is in rough condition because much of the grass has yet to grow in. Biggest ants I've seen in my life. Don't know if they bite and didn't want to find out. There are concrete tee boxes but they are so short they should not be considered tee boxes.

Other Thoughts:

Once the vegetation fills in it will be a decent place to play. Def not the nicest course but have fun each time I played there.
