Pros:

Well, not much in this category to speak of...

-Four or five baskets on a secluded piece of church land.

- Quiet, relaxing place to throw.

Cons:

There really isn't a course here to speak of. Looks like 50% of the baskets were stolen or removed, with the ones that still remain are in awful shape.

Found the 1st tee in front of the parking lot, couldn't find a single tee after that.

No navigation, amentities, etc. Just a few rusty baskets sitting behind a church.

Wooded holes are overgrown with weeds.

No navigational signs or maps, pretty much a safari round for some practice.

Other Thoughts:

I couldn't even see beginners enjoying this place. Some of the baskets are missing, damaged, or laying on the ground.

There's better options in the area, just don't come here and play this "course".

Good beginner/practice course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 27, 2016 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

- easy to navigate once you know the layout
- Lots of free parking
- easy walking terrain
- nice when it's actually maintained
- alone or doubles can finish the 9 holes in 30-40 mins if you don't have much time
- generally quiet
- a couple of cleverly thought out holes
- large field at hole #1/parking lot that can be used for practice!
- No scorecards as mentioned in description but....save a tree, get an app!!
- Ace opportunities for some

Cons:

- long, long time since it's been updated!
- Holes are nowhere near marked so download the overhead map to get the layout!
- not maintained often enough
- wear high socks or long pants because of the plethora of poison ivy when off course in the woods

Other Thoughts:

Again, this is a good if not great practice course. Especially if you just need a quick round and you're in the area. There are a couple of challenging holes in the woods to keep it interesting. There's also a couple of nice holes that exit the woods into open land. There's no tee pads but I'm not one that feels every course needs them. Sometimes it's just better to stick with what nature gave us and throw from the grass/dirt. Does it have all the bells, whistles and flare of other courses? No. But if you play because you love the sport and take it for what it is than it's fantastic...especially for us locals.

I like that it's local 2+ years drive by

Pros:

All holes are a good distance for a novice player like myself. Nice layout, not to hard but not incredibly easy.

Cons:

Needs bigger tee markers and smoothed out tee pads.

Other Thoughts:

I actually liked the course, good up and coming place to play. I'll be back for sure.

Fun church course! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 23, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course in on a very nice property run by incredibly nice people. The layout is a variety of lightly wooded holes and heavily wooded holes and the maps/scorecards provided at the first tee are very helpful.

Cons:

The baskets aren't the best they catch ok but have no inner chains. A few of the teepads are a bit rough, but other than those 2 things it was great.

Other Thoughts:

The 1st tee is in the corner of the parking lot farthest from the church, and the scorecards are in a mailbox on a light post near there. The tees are marked by two large bricks in the ground. Can't wait for 9 more when I come back to ohio next year!
