New layout as of August 21, 2012
3 new holes forged in the woods, eliminating 3 of the open shots at the start of the course.
The course flows much better now.

-Despite having no map, the course was extremely easy to follow from one basket to the next tee.
-Baskets were in great condition. They looked to be brand new.
-Nice mix of easier, more forgiving holes with wide open tee shots (mostly found on the first half of the course) and tighter, more technical holes that required tee shots with a specific shape (mostly found on the back half of the course).
-Good use of elevation, especially on the back 9.
-Very friendly and helpful staff.

-A couple of walks from basket to tee (ex. #17) require players to walk across or up fairways. Luckily no other groups were on the course while my group and I were playing.
-The baskets could not be seen from the tee box on a couple of holes (ex. #16). On these holes I had to run down the fairway to take a look at where the tee shots had to end up. I liked the hidden baskets, but a simple sign by the tee box could have saved a bit of extra walking, especially for golfers who haven't played the course before.
-Tee boxes could use a little work. Most were decently packed down and more or less level. Some however were in long grass or had very loose dirt. Both situations made for less than sure footing.

I played this course with three people who have never played before and after playing I'd say that this course is a good place to introduce disc golf to someone who is new to the sport. The first half of the course is very forgiving which is nice for someone who is trying to figure out how to throw discs for the first time. Then as the beginner learns to better control the flight of the disc they will move on to the back half of the course where they will need to learn to shape the flight of the disc.
I would suggest anybody other than beginners or young children should play from the longer tees. The longer tees look like they would bring more elevation and more challenging tee shots into play.
Finally, I always like to have a mix of par 3's, 4's, and 5's on courses. I think that this course definitely has room for more par 4's (in addition to #18) and could probably even squeeze in a par 5 or two. This would make the course less beginner friendly, but would add some much needed challenge.
Overall I enjoyed playing this course and had fun teaching 3 new guys how to play.
