Pros:

The ONLY course in Jackson county with baskets!
The course has a variety of shots and different shot options.
Has a good mix of long holes, short holes, technical holes and open holes.
The course is always improving and it's very well kept by Carl and the local club.

Cons:

Carpet pads on only some holes, otherwise its dirt (or mud).
There is poison oak on some holes, if you go off the fairway.

Other Thoughts:

The course is continually changing and challenging the golfer. Everyone is nice to help you out and point you in the right direction. Go try it out and feel free to donate to the cause (better baskets!).

Pros:

Excellent mix of throws. Course layout is brilliant, mixing long bombers and technical approaches for maximum enjoyment. My favorite holes are #8 "The Jug" and #15 "Keyhole", while not long they each have a risk reward that pays off huge.

Being a private club everyone there is welcoming and very friendly. The Members clubhouse is stocked with cold drinks and snacks. Thanks Carl!

Future course development and expansion possibilities.

Cons:

While still getting established, the course needs some manicuring but is coming along.

Be prepared to get a few burs in your socks, the course winds through pasture containg grasses and blackberries.

Watch out for the poison oak.

Other Thoughts:

Harper's Grove tests all of your shots, a fun and challenging course with a locals feel.
