And The Runner In Lane One Is Beheaded By This Strange Looking Basket Thingy! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 12, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

This does not qualify as a pro but the basket # 7 is set approximately two feet from the running lane on the straightaway portion of the school's track. Talk about a law suit waiting to happen? I could get the middle school kid who gets greased while running the 100 yard dash an easy 1.5 million dollar settlement, today! Cash!

McLoughlin has 8 baskets (double chain, no less) set around the perimiter of the school's track and athletic fields. There are maybe five of the old school fiberglass tee signs scattered here and there. Most are badly faded and illegible. The numbers are visible on a couple. Apparently the course once played in a clockwise direction.

Cons:

There are no tee pads of any description.
The signs are mostly unreadable.
You would have to play basket to basket or play safari golf.
Course would it be available during school hours or practice times.
There just is not enough room here for even a small pitch and putt course.

Other Thoughts:

It's readily apparent that this course, and I use that term loosely, hasn't had a lot of play for many a moon. It's probably useful if someone wanted to go and practice their putting. I'm certain some staff member sold some administrators on the concept of disc golf as a P.E. and after school activity for the middle school students. Unfortunately, it was never a great idea here as there just isn't enough room. Middle school students would be hysering a lot of discs over the fence and into the streets and neighbor's yards.

Great for what it is.... 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 18, 2014 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

There are baskets and you can create long shots depending which basket you shoot at.

Cons:

This is not a course. There are no tee pads or order to play the baskets in... The baskets are spread out around the perimeter of the football field. One or two of the baskets were broken the last time I went there.

Other Thoughts:

In a town that does not embrace disc golf AT ALL, it is nice to have a place to throw at baskets. It really is just for practice and field work. If you are looking for a course to play this is not the place.
