Nice, but could be a lot better 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 9, 2012 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Easy to navigate, excellent signage, cement tee pads, and interesting basket placement. Some very nice wooded holes throughout the middle of the course.

Cons:

Poor course design overall. The nice landscape was underused in my opinion.

Side note:

Streamside was closed!! I came to play the most difficult course.... and it was closed. That was a huge bummer.

Other Thoughts:

I played the Long tees by the way.

In general I have mixed feelings about this course. On one hand, it is very well maintained, has excellent signs, cement tee pads, and nice creative basket placement. But on the other hand, there are several holes that are just easy, short, straight shots. With the natural landscape, you'd think the course would make better use of the natural terrain and be more interesting. Really, if you can throw a straight 275' shot, you will shoot around par (54). Coming from an experience disc golfer, This course is nice, but it's too straightforward, and lacks a genuine personality. Great if you are passing through. But if you are looking for better courses, Play Quarry run or Porcupine Ridge in Augusta.
