Pros:

The course plays through a small nicely kept park right next to the NIU campus. The park is grassy with some scattered mature trees. Each of the shots has at least a couple trees to avoid, one hole offers a little bit of a low ceiling. The tees are nice concrete pads that are plenty large and grippy. There are no signs, but they're not really necessary with all baskets easily in view and the course layout is immediately obvious. Despite being in a pretty small multi-use park, it didn't seem like there were too many conflicts or safety issues.

Cons:

This is more of a practice area than a full course, with only 4 holes it takes about 5 minutes to play. The holes are very short and straightforward with little challenge and no creative shots required. The layout is a bit odd, you play to the far side of the park and end there, so you have a little bit of a walk back to the first tee or back to your car. There is very little parking, if school is in session it looks like the handful of spaces get used as parking for the college making the park not very accessible.

Other Thoughts:

It's cool that there's a little practice area like this available within walking distance of the NIU campus. Beginners will find this course very approachable and an ok place to try out disc golf. More experienced players won't find any challenge or interest, though you could make some interesting safari holes to work on different skills if the park isn't busy.
