Pros:
- Well-maintained, great signage, nice concrete tee pads, pretty views.
- Fun mix of holes and use of terrain. Elevation changes, long and short holes, open and wooded holes.
- Limited risk of losing discs. There's some dicey situations in the woods, but it's unlikely a disc would get so far away that you couldn't find it, though you may have to scramble down some terrain to get to it. Small pond on 18 shouldn't be hard for most players to clear and also has an alternate tee pad that beginners could use to make sure they don't lose one to the water.

Cons:
- Players with big arms might find some of the open holes a bit too easy.
- Toward the end of the round, there are three holes in a row that feel really similar. Very short shots off the tee that need to fade right. Depending on how good you are at executing that shot, players are likely to find it either a bit boring or frustrating after being asked to do it the third time in a row.

Other Thoughts:
Excellent place to stop if you're driving I-55 and want to stretch your legs and whip some plastic. Only played it once, but it was a Sunday with great weather, and we only saw one other group on the course.
Our group of varying ability all enjoyed it, though #11 was rough for the less experienced players.

Pros:
~ Great course for moderately experienced players, poses a challenge
~ Variety of open, hills, trees, creeks, ponds, and ravines
~ Great signage at every tee
~ Park flows from hole to hole, no walk is too far from last hole, yet not claustrophobic
~ Practice basket placed near hole one for warm up
~ Bathrooms throughout park
~ If you needed to you could start from many other parking locations to avoid others on the course, but there is more so disc golf specific parking at hole 1
~ Full course map located at pavilion near hole 1
~ Central location in town, or easy access from Nash Rd. for players coming from out of town via I-55
~ Park is clean and well maintained
~ Clear out of bounds usage
~ Impressive that Scott City provided such a fine course
~ Lots of walking, good place to stretch the legs
~ Hole 18, they provided a second tee for beginners to not risk throwing discs over the pond
~ Fair par levels

~ The wooded spots are not beginner friendly, then again, what dense wooded area is?
~ If you throw into the ravine on 16, it is hard to navigate to find your disc
~ Directional signs from Main St and Nash Rd would be nice, you almost have to be local to find the park, you can easily get lost in the neighborhood between Main and the park

Other Thoughts:
~ Tied with Litz Park for the best course in the Cape area (Cape County, Capaha, Scott City, Litz) in my honest opinion
~ Easily worthy of a local tournament

Pros:
Typical city park course in a more scenic setting. Great use of the elevation and the wooded area on the back 9...
Solid concrete tee pads and great signage.
Several memorable holes:
#4 Short downhill with a mando between two trees about 10 ft wide.
#14 Short dog leg to a very ace-able hole.... but with a huge cliff behind it if you miss (No, we didn't know that at the time!)
#16 through a ravine with a really cool wooden bridge to the basket.
Front nine was a typical city park course with mature trees and elevation use, while the back nine with the wooded areas made the course interesting!!

I do think that the course was redesigned from the map... #12- 14 look a bit different and we had to hunt for #12, but that's more a site issue than a course issue...

Other Thoughts:
This was course #1 of a 5 course road trip for me and my 17 y/o... Fortunately/ unfortunately it was the best course of the 5 in my opinion, making the rest of the day just so-so!!

Pros:
Easy to navigate. All concrete tee pads. Well maintained wooded holes. Nice mix of up and down hill shots. Not to big and spread out so it's easy to get in a quick round.
Cons:
Could use more trash cans spread out on the course. I hate seeing people who just leave trash by the tee sings and pads.

The cons are all a little nit picky, as this course becomes completed many of the cons will go away. This is a fun course - I will play it again.

We have had complete hole signage for a while now, and we work have worked hard to get the woods cleared of stumps and debris. Given the nature of the woods holes, there will always be some deadfall, but it is much improved and more manicured than last you played. Long-term, we are going to try and get grass growing in those areas to help with the footing issues we have. They are currently installing a bridge over hole 16. The ravine comes into play with an errant throw, but it looks much nicer and there is a more direct walking-route to the basket now. We have also installed an alternate pad on hole 18 that diminishes the distance needed to clear the water hazard. I have also installed 5 alternate basket locations that will increase the difficulty on some of the holes. "

1. easy to find (take first right by a pavillion and tennis courts/sand volleyball before you get to the actual main park entrance. There is a sign that says disc golf course opening fall 2013)

Other Thoughts:
Great to see another course go up in the area. It's only a 10 to 15 minute drive from Cape county north which makes it easy to get in two 18 hole courses in one day if your not from the area. This is a pretty standard city park style course although it will eventually have a total of three wooded holes it looks like. 18 is a throw over a pond which is pretty cool because its short enough where you shouldnt throw in the pond. Chance to ace at a blind basket down the hill on the other side of the pond.
