Home Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Sep 1, 2018 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Free to play!! Mostly open and forgiving to newbs like myself and my son. A few challenges but mostly a just for fun course close to the house. I like the elevation changes on the back 9.

Cons:

Hole #10 ??? (Coming out of the woods) is a disc eater! Needs a path or 2 cut in to the left so you can walk in and find your stray disc. That stuff is thick and a definite snake hazzard.
Tee signs need to be replaced with more permanent ones.

Other Thoughts:

We both lost our White Avenger SS drivers on the hole coming out of the woods....(#10?)! I found mine on the next trip but sons is still missing. So, if anyone finds one....

Beginners only 2+ years drive by

Pros:

They did the best they could with land provided it seems. Nice Innova baskets.

Cons:

Basically a putter/midrange course except for a couple holes (I would consider myself an avg. AM tournament player).
Course mostly runs counterclockwise around the perimeter of park. Baskets are placed near wood line to make "more difficult" - left/flick friendly. Other baskets are placed behind near a lone obstacle.
One basket plays between two ball fields which will be problematic if fields are in use - otherwise kind of a fun throw. There was virtually no signage - but relatively easy to follow.

Other Thoughts:

The course is very flat and mostly in the open sun. If you are in the area and need a place to play, it is okay. It is a pretty nice park - definitely not a destination course and not worth the drive from Columbus or Albany in my opinion. I gave it a 2.0 instead of a 1.5 because there are a couple of interesting throws. Again - think the designers did pretty well with the land that they had - just a dull course for an experienced player.

Fun Course!!! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 23, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

Very beginner friendly but also challenging for the advanced level player. Great use of available terrain features! You will want to put this one on your play list! Nice mix of holes! With most holes in the open....windy conditions will add to the challenge!

Cons:

The course has temp signs as of thus post but permanent signs will be installed in the near future. No big deal as the course is easy to follow.

Other Thoughts:

Awesome course in a newly developing disc golf market! Excited to have the course in our area!
