great for young kids 2+ years

Pros:

The course is set up along the west side of the school campus. The baskets are of a variety I can't recall ever seeing, they may have been homemade. These were perfectly adequate for this course. There's a few trees to contend on hole 2 through 7. Nothing too major but just enough challenge. The course is free and permanent. There are white 2x4's imbedded in the ground serving as tees. I couldn't find 5's but that was it.

Cons:

The cons I'll list are understandable for an elementary school course. but i'll mention them anyway. Distances are all really short. You can only play during non school hours. That's really all for cons.

Other Thoughts:

I was pretty surprised by this course. One of the better elementary school courses I've played. For more experienced players you won't find much excitement here. It's all right for a quick 20 minute round though. Just nothing overly special.

Good Elementary Course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 23, 2014 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Very short 9 hole course set around the playground at Jackson Elementary school on the south side of Sheboygan.

Nice baskets (not sure of the brand), with number plaques on them. They caught very well, and having the numbers very visible on them helped with navigation.

Natural tee pads, with a white 2x4 in the ground, with hole number painted on. All the tee areas were level and easy to throw from.

Cons:

The course is VERY short, with holes ranging from about 80'-125'. A few of the holes have some trees to throw around, but nothing major.

A couple of the tees weren't immediately apparent, but not too difficult to find.

Other Thoughts:

This course is fine for what it is...a short course for young kids to learn on. A couple obstacles scattered through a few holes, but nothing too tough. For more advanced players, it's a decent spot for practicing approaches and long jump putts, or run for aces.

Hole 1 is right by the parking lot. Obviously, you won't be able to play here during school hours.
