Revamped Fun Putter Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 19, 2018 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

The course has been redesigned with brand new baskets added which are a night and day improvement over the old baskets. Holes 2 and 3 have some great technical short shots. This course is right on the Missouri River in a very nice well maintained park.

Cons:

The longest hole is 230' so no drivers needed.

Other Thoughts:

This is a great putter/beginner course which would be perfect to start out on for young kids.

Quick fun in historical area 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 6, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Fun to play and quick if you are just passing through. All the holes are short, so it's mostly just practice. Right on the Missouri River.

The last ferry to run in this area is on the course. That's something you don't see every day.

Cons:

-Baskets are not in great shape
-Not easy to tell where to tee off from
-Mosquitoes and ants in the summer

Other Thoughts:

It's a cute park, and this is where the ferry used to run on the Missouri River. Just up the road is a one room schoolhouse built in the 1880's.

Pros:

Can make it to all of the baskets in one shot. Nice little park overlooking the Missouri River. Fun to play if just passing through, can play 9 holes in less than 1/2 hour.

Cons:

Baskets are't the best quality, but i've seen worse. No tee boxes.

Other Thoughts:

Short and easy, but pretty fun.

Washburn Doubles 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 16, 2011 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

There is so many way to play this course to make it harder by setting up madatory routes for your play. Most of the time this course has no one there so you get done playing turn around and play it backwards give it a totally different look. In lest then a hour.

Cons:

The baskets are home made and are in bad shape from the long years of no one looking after the couse.

Other Thoughts:

This was my home course all through out high school and i have aced all the baskets but for holes 1 and 9 front, 10 and 18 backwards

Riverside 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Oct 19, 2008 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

They installed Discather baskets. Course lay out has been change and updated. They added signs and a course broad with course maps. Very clean course, that loops around. Tee boxes are grass. You can see all the baskets from the Tee box.

Cons:

The sidewalk could be a safety issue, if the park is busy. No signs for next Tee box.

Other Thoughts:

All you will need is Midrange and Putters. Hole 1 is to the left of the parking lot on top of the hill. A downhill Throw. Hole 2 is across the road from the parking lot. Sidewalk to your right and uphill throw. From there follow the sidewalk to find Hole 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7. Hole 3 straight out, in a little open area. Hole 4 is uphill throw, be carefull Hole 6 basket could be mistaken for 4. Hole 5 downhill slightly. Hole 6 basket set on a hillside slightly. Hole 7 downhill throw. Cross the road to riverside for Hole 8. Hole 8, road on your left, river to your right. Basket straight out. Hole 9, river on your left and the River barge on your right. But in front of you, you throw over a small hill. You will see the basket. Picnic Area and Restrooms.
