Pros:

•Solid use of land
•Has tee signs
•MVP baskets

The day I played this course was after massive rain storms and in horrible wind. Not ideal for a open course like this. However, I had a lot of fun. The course forces you to open up, but also has a few holes where you have to make the choice of play aggressive and risk OB or play safe. Overall it was worth the drive to play it, and was worth the $5 to play. I believe they offer $10 for all day and will have a second course soon. I intend to make another trip up when they do.

Cons:

•No teepads
•Could use next tee signs
•Leaning baskets

The course could use cement pads. The disc tees don't really get in the way of the ball course so I hope they intend to add them in the future. There is a few places that you could get turned around looking for the next tee. The baskets need to be supported better. The heavy rains and winds I believe softened the ground and had more than a few baskets leaning. Might not be a problem after spring, but it's annoying to putt at a tilted basket.

Other Thoughts:

Its worth makong a trip out to.

Pros:

This is a well manicured, great course. The south (regular) course is well laid out, with some awesome holes you can rip a long drive on. Challenging shots on most holes and hazards to keep you in line. With the addition of the MVP Portals this spring, this course is going to be one of the top destination courses in Michigan. The winter Acey Duecy course is a short course that allows you to play in about an hour, just long enough to have a great time, and short enough to allow you to go inside, get warmed up and then go play another round. The winter course is going to be the new east course that will be available year round sometime in May. This is going to be the perfect beginner course! shorter drives, less hazards. the perfect course to play as a family and beginners. I really love this course and I suspect you will too!

Cons:

Although not that much of a con, but you do have to watch out for ball golfers on the south course. Course etiquette requires you to allow the ball golfers play through. it's really a good idea for your own safety plus they do play faster.

Other Thoughts:

With the Marlette Park and Pool minutes away, a lot of choices for dining. Lodging within 20 minutes of course. This is the place to play. Plus bar and snack bar on site. Disc Golf Pro shop is awesome and the prices are low, unlike most pro shops. A definite destination course!
