Pros:

-chainstars in decent condition
-tee posts present on most holes (missing on 5 & 8)
-concrete to tee from on holes 1 & 9
-the natural tees are flat and decent
-a variety of trees offering some obstacles and low ceilings
-large parking lot

Cons:

-mostly in the same distance range: 240'-330' with the majority between 270' and 300'
-any hyzer will do on nearly all the holes, hole 7 is a bit more left to right
-other park amenities come into play

Other Thoughts:

This small town 9 holer is short and simple. The holes are pretty basic, lots of space but scattered trees to avoid. There are no stand out holes, I guess the closest is the last hole. It's the longest at 333', has a concrete tee, and the green has three large trees circling the basket. The pool area can come into play on holes 7-8 and the area around holes 4-6 sometimes doubles as a soccer field.

This is a perfect course for local families and beginners. Most other players will be bored here. It's definitely not worth going out of your way. If you're looking for a place to stop and stretch, this will suffice but if you're traveling along 287, Fair Park in Childress or any stop in Wichita Falls are better options.

Hard to play if soccer game 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 1, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

They did have tea markers and good baskets for a small town its nice to have a course

Cons:

There was a soccer game going on and holes 2 is too close to where people park and 3-6 are where the fans sit or the kids play so during a game all you can play is 1 and 7-9

Other Thoughts:

I wish they would have built it away from the soccer field.

Pros:

Chainstar Baskets, Few people playing at any giving time, City maintains the park and keeps it Nice An clean, Bathrooms are easily accessible, Great layout for the land that was giving to use. Also There plenty of parking

Cons:

Natural teepads on Holes 2 through 8. In Winter time The Gopher holes are abundant through the park. Some park go-ers are oblivious to disc golfers throwing to #4 basket so you might have to Ask for them to look out.

Other Thoughts:

This is a great Course to work on all of your shots and there also a A big Soccer field South across the road if you wanna Practice Your Drives or Make a Safari Hole throwing back to a basket.

Pros:

New Chainstars baskets. Great use of limited land. Multiple lines on most holes. Good flow. Fun risk reward shots. Usually mowed. City works hard to upkeep.

Cons:

Park setting. No tee signs with distance or pictures. Flat. Need concrete tee pads on the rest of the holes!

Other Thoughts:

Lemonade from lemons!
