An Alright Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 11, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

- The park is in a small neighborhood so the 3-4 parking spots available seemed fine.
- There is a trash can next to a porta potty near the playground.
- The first tee is right next to the right of the parking lot.
- The course uses the area well and ends at the parking lot.
- Nice baskets.
- None of the shots are particularly challenging, but the way the baskets are nestled behind branches or between a set of trees added some difficulty to the course.

Cons:

- The course is 9 holes and feels very short.
- A distance driver or fairway driver are really not needed. I only used my mid-ranges and putters for my round.
- The tall grass in the center is very large and hitting a tree or messing up your shot can lead to a long search through the grass.
- The teepads are just a metal circle in the ground that indicates what hole you're on and some dirt for you to plant your feet. It was not very comfortable to tee off on.
- Holes 1, 7 and 8 are all at the edge of the park and a disc could easily go on someone's property if you're not careful while throwing.

Other Thoughts:

I was happy with some of the holes because they offered some challenge even when distance wasn't required. The teepads left much to be desired but the baskets were in good shape. The large area of tall grass in the center of the park as well as the houses at the edge made me a little nervous throwing many shots. It's an alright course, but being mindful of what the course is made it a fun round.

2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 6, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

Clean Quick Fun, what more can you ask for. Third course I've ever played and other then the water it was so fun. New markers show the tees, concrete with arrow. Nice flow.

Cons:

Open flat area so wind gusts can drastically change your throw. 9 hole is right along the road. 5 hole has you manage a water hole that was able to change my drive approach.

Other Thoughts:

Great little 9 hole, would be fun for a lunch break.

Great local course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 25, 2017 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Played course last year, no tee markings, so I kind of just made my own. This year, there are now tee markers. Nice, open course. Great for beginners. Not too much distance.

Cons:

No true tee pads, holes sometimes cross (not ever crowded, so I only think of this as a semi-con).

Other Thoughts:

Again, great for beginners. Tee markers point to basket. Beautiful area.

Comfort Park 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 22, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

+Located in a clean, well maintained residential park.
+Nice new baskets
+While it's true that there aren't very many obstacles, those that exist are used to good effect (Baskets placed inside little groves of trees on a couple holes and the little creek/pond comes into play on 4 holes.)
+Excellent flow to the course, you begin and end right at the parking lot. The tees point right at the basket.
+Super quick play, I played 9 holes alone in just under 15 minutes. This could be an excellent lunch break or commuting course if you are in the area

Cons:

-The tees are just spray panted on grass right next to the last basket so you are basically playing basket to basket which could become a major issue if the course is busy
-There are a few fairways that play almost on top of each other. Again, only an issue if the course is busy.
-Holes 1 and 8 play along backyards so that comes into play if you shank your drive.
-There is a playground that could come into play on 2, 5 and 9. Again, only an issue if the park is busy.
-No signage, but you shouldn't really need any due to the tight flow of the course.

Other Thoughts:

This was a fun course to play and another 9 holes in an under-served community is always welcome.
Regarding the spray paint tees: It is possible that they are just painting temporarily to see how it goes before they invest in concrete.
