Enjoyable Course
Nice course. Fairly wide open. Long tees are clearly marked. Not crowded, at least the day I played. Mostly open. Many of the baskets are not visible from the tee (sort of hidden). Baskets and A tees in good condition.
Parking is limited right now, because of construction on the...

I really like it!
Plenty of challenging holes
Only 3 open holes (a + for me, maybe not you?)
Well marked
Course maps and scorecards
Well planned
Need all of your discs
Just a great hike...playing or not
Park is right off I66 - easy to find
Plenty of challenging holes
Might be dense in the peak...

Lots of variety. Stream along hole 1 and at the bottom of 18. Plenty of changes in elevation. Holes 2-4 all uphill and narrow. Fairly well marked. Most t pads are in decent condition. Hole number 11 in the spring when the apple blossems are in bloom, might be one of the most scenic holes in the...

Potential
Lovely park. Great bathrooms and fountains (not close to the course though). Everything is brand new. Course is in a fairly isolated area. Read the driving directions carefully. Two or 3 interesting holes. Volunteers were adding benches and clearing brush the day I was there. That is...

I think you will find something to like
Excellent support facilities such as water and bathrooms. Pretty good blend of open and wooded holes. Water in play :). I played on a beautiful Thursday, and was there were only 2-3 other players.
No tee pads ( I hear they are coming). Blue tee markings...

Potential...lots of potential
There is a lot of variety in this course. Some wide open, some very narrow fairways, some open to woods and woods to open. A little water, but nothing you would loose a disc into. Views of the surrounding mountains are great. I saw bluebirds, cardinals, minnows...

I like it....but losing a disc is a distinct possibility
I like the elevation changes. I usually play in Maryland and we don't have courses like this. Very peaceful setting. The fragrances from the variety of trees and wild flowers is especially pleasant. Most if the holes are medium length...

Potential
Lots of elevation difference, which is unusual for a campus course. Elevated tees are fun. Very tight and technical for the most part. A few wide open holes in the back nine.
Poor course marking. Too much debris. We probably, overall, spent 30 minutes looking for the next tee. Hopefully...

Great Starter Course
As others have stated this is a great course to introduce new players to the sport. Maybe the best one I have seen. Rivals Middletown in MD for that distinction. Just enough variety in elevation and obstacle to make it a great 1st time out. I love the over the building hole...

Good for beginners
I really can't say anything too positive about this course. Signage is decent. Bathrooms are available. Has some shade.
Good for beginners. Not likely to lose a disc.
Except for a couple of holes it is pretty repetitive. No elevation change. No real hazards. Lots of people...

Play it more than once
Good signage, though "Next Tee" directions would be helpful.
Excellent concrete t pads...nice and long. Nice mix of open and wooded. The woods are not so dense as to lose discs even in July. Has not been crowded when we have played. Very generous par ratings...I liked it...

Great Beginner Course
Beautiful park in a beautiful valley. This is not a very difficult course by any means, but there is some variety on 11-18. It is well maintained (new signage as of 5-2012) Park in the lot near the lake and you will see the practice basket and 1st tee. Two tees for each...

Won't play it again
Scenery and wildlife abound. It is free which is sort of surprising at a resort area. not very difficult to navigate with free course score card and map. Lot's of terrain (up and down) but holes are pretty boring.
The T off mats are horrible. Short, rarely level. Lots of rock...
