The reason behind this event is FUN, and introducing new people to the sport of disc golf. This year's event is open to everyone, but hard core disc golfers won't appreciate some of the "mini-golf-like" holes, such as Blindfold Tee-off, Grab Bag Hole, Croquet Hole, Ace Hole, and more. Main...

Nice quick, course
Nice baskets, some challenging obstacles. Our Thursday DG group plays here once a month, and can easily get 2 rounds in in 90 minutes.
Some terrain (up, down, across hills).
Requires both right and left flight patterns.
Fairly open.

Promising possibility
Elevation, some open holes, some wooded. Beautiful new baskets.
Poor signage means difficult navigation on holes 5-9. I couldn't find any sensible way to cross the creek the multiple times it was required. Steep hills made for treacherous up and down on muddy hills.
With...

Great beginner's course
Hole #1 is a great warm-up throw, followed by a long downhill #2. Nice contrast.
Various elevation in play, some up, some down, some level.
#4 & #5 play close to private property which includes an annoying, noisy dog.
Plays near pathways, but has never been a problem...

First time Minnesota winter playing
Yesterday, while heading home to Mora, from Minneapolis, I had the urge to play in the fresh, deep snow.
I called a friend, and we met at Ham Lake DGC. The parking lot was well plowed, and no one was there. We had at least an hour of light, so we...

Not even a complete course
There are baskets
There are a few signs showing tees
There are only 4 baskets on this field
The sign that marked tee #1 is no where near where it shows on the course map (#1 actually tees off slightly above where the map shows tee #3)
The course map shows tee #1 to...

Has potential, but frustrating
Very challenging distances, and obstacles
Various tee pads play to the same basket as other holes, but does create unique, and quite different shot potential.
-Too much risk for how the course is laid out.
-Some holes don't seem to make sense (#8 and #17 both shoot...
