Better Than Shady Oaks
Most all of the pros listed below I found. Additionally, the layout of the course is better than Shady Oaks because it has moderate vegetation. Many of the holes have just enough trees to help with imagination of shots without snuffing your accuracy or game. In other...

Somewhat Overrated
The best parts of this course are the tee pads, parking and some of the hole maps.
As many of the reviewers below establish, this course has a lot of TREES which lowers the skill involved in your drives and approaches. Many holes there are no way to go except through full...

Perfect
Great holes, good distance and good number of obstacles.
Like previous posts, you NEED THE MAP. Even with the map its a little tricky - but it at least helps.
Can be some traffic going into this part of Portland. There's only one road that gets up the course and it can get crowded.

Ghetto Fab
Nice grounds. Medium difficulty with distance and obstacles.
Baskets are little old and unforgiving. The course is fairly tight so each subsequent tee pad is fairly easy to find from the previous hole.
Kind of bad part of Portland. When I played, there were some thugs on the...

Good Practice

Only a few...

Construction/Course Layout
Great range of holes. Some blind shots. Hard shots. Mediocre shots. Nice range.
Previous review regarding visibility of baskets on course is dead on. They are camouflaged. If this is your first time on the course, I would recommend you find a local as I did.

Best in Sacramento
Produces very challenging shots, and has a lot of changes in elevation. Plenty of good players to play with. Great pro shop.
Many of the baskets and fairways are hidden, making it difficult to track a disc after tee or approach. Two sections of the course are pretty much in a...

Great Views
Amazing views of the Valley and City of Chico.
Very challenging holes and terrain with a great mix of trees and shrubs and changes in elevation.
Benches at various holes.
Very clean.
Course not marked well.
Strong potential for losing discs on two of the holes as the edge...
