Legit ass course with a private sort of feel. Rarely see many other golfers out, yet the course is usually maintained very well. Red/blue or long/short options allow for 36 hole layout. It has tee signs at each tee pad with distances listed on them.

Tons of shade
Gets mowed often.
A pristine river view.
Nettles can make it interesting.
Mosquitoes.
Poison ivy.
Nettles can be dam itchy.
Best course in Lawrence, hands down.
Clay teepads are a nice change.

These pictures and other reviews are quite deceiving -- there is signage, multiple tees, no missing baskets, etc. This course is for real.
Water.
Tight fairways.
Oblivious fishermen.
Someone stole the donkey statue on hole 17.
Worth it!
