really well laid out course with challenging holes for left and right handed players.the woods were not too dense. Nice long drives.
The 18th seems a little lack luster, and the blue tee seems to be non existent on the 1st hole.

Muddy after rain
Water and brush hazards are interesting. #8 is very unique, Can be challenging for beginners if you play all par threes(the tee markers can be confusing for some people where some are listed as par fives and fours) this shows the courses age. Very convenient for a quick game...

great park
Really,really nice park, nice brick tees,fairly easy to find, just off 460 (About 45mins. from Roanoke), amazing vistas,multiple tee positions and basket positions, fairly good use of what trees are there.

not much to say about this course that hasn't already been said, This is the type of course that will introduce new players to the game.
they are now building a walking path though the course. It would be very hard to find 1st tee if you hadn't played this course before
