it's a great article in a valuable spot for disc golf in general. i still don't buy 60k players a year through a course in ogden utah.
Assuming the course is available year-round, dawn to dusk, no glow rounds (avg 11 hours)
60,000 players per year = 164 players per day = 15 players per hour
Assuming the course is played 8 months a year (call winter 11/15-3/15), dawn to dusk (avg 13 hours), no glow rounds...
60,000 players per year = 244 players per day = 19 players per hour
Is there a course in the world that gets that sort of play? I have to think not. I view it as a really good year if I get 10,000 players through my course.
