The latest episode of Disc Golf Live video magazine has been sent to our broadcast partners as we continue to work on bringing disc golf to new faces in new places via local public and community access television stations. These are the stations found in many parts of the country which serve communities large and small. Frequently, a local resident is needed to sponsor and/or provide the broadcast content. Conveniently, Disc Golf Live is available for just that purpose. (Contact us about downloads or program DVDs by mail.)

Hurray for the PDGA for making DGL possible over the past 12+ years. And Hurrays for our contributors this episode, Central Coast Disc Golf and Disc Golf Examiner. From the crew at CCDG comes coverage of the masters division at the 2016 Beaver State Fling. The guys at DGE provided coverage of the 2016 Pittsburgh Flying Disc Open. These crews are doing great work and we are happy to help bring their creations to a wider audience as we work to grow awareness of our sport. If you have suggestions about other videos (we love variety) or want to put something together (commentary is a must) drop us a note.

Thanks for watching.

Here are some stations which have added Disc Golf Live to their broadcast line-up recently:

Peninsula Area Public Access / Port Angeles, WA

LakeCAM / Lakeville and Freetown, MA

Saugus Cable Television Station / Saugus, MA

ACCtv / Carson City and Dayton, NV

In each case, station personnel initiated the broadcasts by downloading DGL files from PEGmedia.org, a program file sharing website.

There are many other communities out there where DG should be on TV. Unfortunately, disc golfers primarily just want to go out and play. Few do anything productive for their area's club, courses, leagues and tournaments. If you are one of the folks who is a doer, and you have a station in your town, find out what it takes to submit a show for broadcast and then drop me a note. I'll get program DVDs into your hands and help you through the process.
