Ok DGCR I am looking for some input on how to get the ball rolling on starting a club/team for local youth. Myself and a few others in the community that have extensive experience working with teenagers want to explore what it could look like to have a club going.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Are there high schools that have DG teams?
I am in Texas if that matters. We have 7 courses within an hours drive from our town, and one that is less than a mile from the local high school. I also have contacts through the local school and could probably pull some strings to run the club as an extracurricular after school activity.
I would be interested in talking to colleges that have DG teams or anyone that would have valuable feedback.
