Up and coming start up of a Junior disc league for kids 17 and under who just want to get out and throw a round with kids their age. We will meet bi-monthly and the courses vary. We will meet at disc golf courses in and around the Austin and surrounding areas. We have had 2 meet ups so far and in September we have one scheduled for the 8th at 9am at the Flying Armadillo Disc Golf course. We have some great support from local disc golfers and Disc Nation. This group was started by 2 female junior disc golfers who are 9 and 14 yrs of age that wanted to play with their peers instead of adults. They are doing their part in trying to grow the sport and get the little ones involved even if its their first time throwing a disc. Please link up with the group that can be found on facebook with more information. https://m.facebook.com/groups/2139420582993109

A junior disc golf league is a great idea. Lots of kids play the mini course at the Flying Armadillo. If you have a flyer you might post it on the bulletin board there to recruit more players. Also, the red tees are currently being updated and could be a challenging alternative to the mini course for some of the older kids.

Will try to get one made and see if the Ericksons can post one up. I'll be headed to Australia Thursday evening and will be back just in time for the meet up on the 8th of September. We change up the courses from North to South to make it easier for those that live up North. My daughter loves playing the mini course but she also loves the regular course as well. Might do both and use the Mini as a warm up since she's trying to Ace the lighthouse one again.
