*Safety Actions Plans: August 9th from 7:30am-6pm, I and my team will have a PDGA sanctioned disc golf event at Horizons Park in Germanton NC. Here are our current and fluid safety actions for this event.

This event will be held with no spectators and will be an athlete and staff only event. Participants, Family, Fans and friends will be informed.

We will operate on the local and state guidelines put in place as well as any added leading up to our event.

We will encourage the wearing of masks while in a space of others as well as maintaining the practice of 6 feet apart as we are accustomed to do.

We will encourage our athletes to only touch their discs and to play and participate with the safety guidelines we have collectively set and put in place.

Each participant/athlete will sign a document acknowledging the rules and guides we and the PDGA have set in place in order to have a safe outdoor event. In order to compete. In the event a player does not want to follow our guidelines they will be removed from the event and encouraged to leave as they are no longer a participant.

We will not be serving or providing food, snacks or providing any drinks as each player will be in charge of their own desires for food and drink during the tournament.

Per the PDGA guidelines, we will not be doing the normal players Rules meeting/gathering, as each athlete will be operating on a given tee time and rules and guidelines will be communicated electronically. Each card will have a separation of 10 minutes beginning on the first tee.

Per the PDGA guidelines we will not be doing a players meeting/gathering following the completion of the tournament in order to stay within our safety action plan. The scoring is done electronically as well as the awarding of our winners.

We will maintain all safety guidelines in place as well as accept and implement any new standards needed.
