Pros:
Nice disc catcher baskets.
Finding discs 8/10 Not much chance of losing a disc unless you really shank one on hole 1. Might have to dig through weeds a little if you go left on 7.
Elevation 6/10 5 of the 8 holes are pretty much completely flat, but the other 3 have some interesting elevation changes. Hole 2 is uphill at the end, 3 is downhill the whole way, and 8 is uphill with sidehill.
Variety of Distances 6/10. A decent mix of short (holes 1 and 5) and long (holes 4, 7, and 8).
Cons:
Navigation on holes 0/10, between holes 1/10. The big question on most of these holes is where do they start? I found 3 tee pads (I think holes 2, 3, and 6). There are no tee signs or posts, or markers of any kind other than the little rubber squares that seem to be gone on most holes, leaving you to guess. There is no course map on site or online that I could find. Long walk after hole 6 to get to where you can tee off for hole 7. At least the baskets have hole numbers written on them so if you walk the whole course you can tell the general direction you're supposed to go.
No alternate hole positions 0/10
Comfort 1/10 Lots of holes over or near various sports fields and playgrounds and walking paths. No benches or water or bathrooms.
Variety of openness 2/10 Many holes are almost completely open with about 2 trees. Hole 4 has trees lining the left side, and 5 and 6 have a good number of scattered obstacles.
Use of obstacles 2/10 There could have been more holes that utilized the area where holes 4 - 7 are, providing more obstacles and avoiding throwing over sports fields.
Variety of shot paths 2/10 Hole 4 favors left to right, hole 6 favors right to left.
Decisionmaking required 3/10 A couple routes to choose from on holes 5 and 6, and slight risk/reward deciding whether to go over or around soccer field on holes 2 and 3. The rest let you do whatever.
Course maintenance 3/10 one basket is missing, and many tees are missing. The one redeeming quality is that it's mowed.
Reasonably challenging all levels 3/10 Good for beginners to learn the game, and for intermediate players to work on distance on the long holes.
Other Thoughts:
More precise rating 1.331
Overall Challenge 3/10
Looking past all of the issues with not having any way to denote where most of the holes are supposed to start, and the fact that several holes will be dangerous/unplayable if the fields are in use, you can set up some interesting holes depending on where you pick to play from. I played on a day that no one was on any fields, and actually enjoyed many of the holes from where I chose to put the tees for myself.
If they added in a map at the start, and markers to denote the tees that are visible from the previous baskets, this course could probably move up to a 2.0. If they take out a couple holes 1-3 and add in a couple new holes in the space for hole 4-7 it could move up even higher.
