Pros:
- The surrounding mountains are nice to look at
- Two tee pads per basket to keep things fresh
- Decent amount of elevation, hole 9 long pad especially
- Dirt and rock mounds provide natural obstacles
- Disc golf only area
- Discatchers looking good and help navigate
- Quick round
- Beginners friendly
- Large map near the bathrooms
Cons:
- Tee pads are dirt or rock, uneven and uncomfortable
- Navigation isn't impossible but easier with Udisc
- Most of the holes are the same distance
- A few areas of crossing fairways, I almost got hit
- No tee signs only little flags in the ground
- Favors RHBH and LHFH players
- Low challenge
- I had to go #2 and the restrooms were closed!!!!
Other Thoughts:
I enjoyed the view more than I did the golf to be totally honest with you. Not that the golf is terrible but it's "ok" and the mountains (the tops covered in snow this time of year) captured my attention more than anything. This is an interesting little piece of land for disc golf but feel as though 9 holes may be a few too many here. A 6 or 7 hole course could eliminate a few of the more boring holes while also correcting the overlapping fairways. Overall probably worth a stop if you're bagging the Ogden area. Not the best in the area but not the worst.
