Pros:
18 holes with red top DIScatcher 28 baskets in terrific shape. Playing along the north side of a beautiful, well maintained city park, the Northside offers a solid mix of forehand and backhand holes, and at least two tees on every hole. The short tees are a fun layout to introduce someone to disc golf and provide a good challenge to shoot a hot score, while the back pads will test the longer arms with long par threes and four solid par fours. Good use of available land and even some elevation, a rarity for south Florida.
Cons:
It's mostly open. There are some scattered trees on almost every hole but no really tight tunnels. While there are a lot of solid holes here, there is no true signature hole. Most of the short pads are not as well marked as the back pads (the ones that are on the grass). Walking path is in play on many holes, just be advised as you play your round.
Other Thoughts:
The course is very well designed, given the available land. Backyards should not come into play at all, the maintenance area also should not come into play as well, and when paired with the Lakeside course, makes for a good day of disc golf.
