Pros:
New DD baskets
Good Tee signs
Cement Tee pads
2 pin positions for each hole
Cons:
Pitch and putt would be an understatement.
No tree's so to speak.
Other Thoughts:
This is what it should be, a small neighborhood course. There is a much bigger course just a few blocks away if you want a bigger challenge.
The best part about showing up to bag this course, I got with his 2 kids were walking off the course as I pulled up. That is EXACTLY what this course should be about. Great to bring the family to, have some fun with the kids and wife/girlfriend and not beat them down with long holes where errant shots will loose discs.
I have no clue why there are alternate pin positions, some of them do make the hole a little longer, but most are about the same distance.
There are no tree's that really come into play. So moving the basket does not really change the shot much.
For someone like me, I was throwing for aces on every hole. I shot -8 due to missing a putt, and dang it, no aces.
Not much other to say other than there is a covered picnic table and restrooms in the park.
Would I play here again? Nope, this is a one and done course for me. But it did serve it's purpose on my trip, one more course bagged before it got too dark to see.
Oh, I rated it 2 star's, not because it's challenging, but because it is perfect for what it should be, a family neighborhood course that is fully marked and even has a Kiosk Map.
